The Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has sent condolence message to victims of the inferno that occurred in Ibadan on Thursday.
In a release personally signed by the Oyo State PDP Chairman, Alh Kunmi Mustapha, which was sent to insideoyo.com by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Engr Akeem Olatunji, he described the incidence as a great loss and appeal to drivers of articulated vehicles to always obey traffic rules and regulations in other to avoid or forestall such a bad occurrence.
Recall that inisdeoyo.com earlier reported that not fewer than two persons have been confirmed death as fuel-laden truck spilled its content on the road in an accident in Ibadan on Thursday.
According to a report by PUNCH Newspaper, six vehicles and 10 motorbikes were also burnt in the fire incident. The state Police spokesman, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who Confirmed the causality figured told The PUNCH that the preliminary reports showed that two people were burnt beyond recognition, with four vehicle and two motorbikes affected.

Oyo State PDP further admonished Christians to make use of the Easter period to pray for the safety of travellers and commuters on our roads while FRSC officials are advised to be strict in the implementation of their guidelines for a safer roads.
