As part of oversight activities of a lawmaker, Hon. Jacob Bamigboye, the member representing Oriire State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, on Monday presented some furniture to the Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM Zonal office in Ogbomoso.
Bamigboye, while speaking, said that the gesture was borne out of the passion he has for teaching and education.
He said further that, considering the roles of TESCOM in education, it is imperative to provide a conducive working environment for TESCOM staff as it would go a long way in enabling them to inject their best in the supervision and implementation of educational policies.
While receiving the items, the Head of Zone, Rev. S.O Adesina sincerely appreciated the gesture bestowed on the Zonal Office.
He said further that this was not the first time Bamigboye’s impacts would be felt by the office.
The Head of Zone added that the gesture was done without being requested. He implored the legislator not to relent on his humanitarian gestures and prayed that God would continue to uphold and strengthen him in his political career.
Finally, Rev. Adesina S.O asked two of his subordinates, a Christian and a Muslim to offer special prayers for Bamigboye.
