The Honorable member representing Ibadan North Constituency ll at the Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel in his efforts to fulfill his campaign promises and to ensure that his people get the benefits of democracy, embacked on an empowerment scheme he tagged “Let’s Go MEGA”.
The empowerment program which was held at the popular Trans-Amusement Park in Bodija was well attended by Politicians, Leaders, Party faithfuls across wards, and local government stakeholders.
In his bid to ensure fairness in the distribution of items, Hon. Adebayo Babajide cuff out millions of Naira to acquire different equipments that cut across all the wards in his constituency, Market women, Artisans, Disables, various associations also benefited from a total of 250 equipments, such as:
Tricycle, 15 Bikes, 25 Deep Freezers, 25 Sewing Machines, 25 Hair dryers, 30 Generators, 3 Shoe Making Machine, 32 Fans, 36 Gas Cylinder, 25 Industrial Cooking Burners, 20 hand dryers, 15 hair Makers Equipment and Over 5million Cash Gift.
Earlier Today we commissioned 8 more Boreholes bringing the total to 16 boreholes since the start of our Administration, Cash of 5million Naira Will be distributed to petty traders, market women, artisans, disables, less privileges among many others he said.
In his words Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel Popularly Known as the Jagaban of the 9th Assembly said, “giving back to our society is the way to show our appreciation, We decided that we should make this an all encompassing, the love and respect we have for our people has been the basis of our strength, i can assure you that we can only get better, Babajide also urge those who are yet to benefit from the program not to be discouraged, sayings the next batch will accommodate them.
