About twenty orphanages have benefited from gift items distributed by the wife of Oyo State Governor, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi.
The event was held at the office of the wife of the Governor in Ibadan.
Mrs. Ajimobi explained that the gesture became necessary for the state to identify with the less privileged.
The first lady also appreciated the efforts of the care givers in ensuring care of the children said government would continue to support the less privileged in the state.
Some of the beneficiaries, who appreciated the gesture, also lauded the support of the state government in caring for their need.
Items distributed included toiletries, foodstuff, beverages and money.
