Oyo Chief Judge Inaugurates Appeal Tribunal For LG Election Petitions

The Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Ladipo Abimbola, on Tuesday, inaugurated the local government election petition appeal tribunal.

The tribunal which was inaugurated to hear appeals on the ruling of the election petition tribunal will be sitting in the High Court premises at Iyaganku, Ibadan.

The Chief Registrar of the judiciary, Mrs S A Oyediran, who made the announcement in a release said “this is to inform the general public and all concerned that the local government election petition appeal tribunal in respect of the recent local government election has been inaugurated by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Hon Justice M.L Abimbola

“The tribunal will be sitting in the High Court premises at Iyaganku, Ibadan,” she said.
