The Oyo State House of Assembly on Tuesday ratified the appointment of Justice Eni Esan as the President, Customary Court of Appeal.

His ratification followed a letter of nomination sent to the House by the Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and read by the Speaker, Mr Olagunju Ojo on the floor of the House.
The ratification was done through a voice vote by the lawmaker.

Who is Justice Eni Esan?
Justice Eni Esan was born in Ibadan in 1955. She attended University of Nigeria, Nsukka to study Law and was called to Bar in 1979.
Justice Esan joined the Services of Ministry of Justice, Oyo State in 1981, where she rose to become Chief Registrar of High Court in 1999 and was appointed a High Court Judge in 2001.
