Sen. (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has approved the appointment of key officers to coordinate his campaign organisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
A statement issued by the campaign organisation on Tuesday in Ibadan said Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle had been appointed Coordinator of the Campaign Organisation, while Hon. Olayemi Olugbenga would serve as Deputy Coordinator.
According to the statement, Hon. Kazeem Adesile Adedeji was appointed Director of Administration and Secretary of the Campaign Organisation, with the responsibility of coordinating administrative activities and ensuring effective communication across the campaign structure.
The campaign organisation also announced the appointment of zonal coordinators to drive its activities across the various geopolitical zones of the state.
Hon. Remi Sodiq was appointed Coordinator for Ibadan City, while Hon. Femi Akintunde would coordinate Ibadan Outer City.
It further stated that Hon. Oladimeji Dauda Wasiu would coordinate Oke-Ogun I, while Hon. Samuel Okunlade would oversee Oke-Ogun II. Hon. Bashir Akanbi was appointed Coordinator for Ogbomoso Zone.
The statement added that Hon. Kazeem Isiaka Arole would coordinate the Oyo Zone, while Hon. Habeeb Ibrahim was appointed Coordinator for Ibarapa Zone.
The campaign organisation said the appointments were part of efforts to strengthen its grassroots mobilisation, enhance coordination and ensure effective engagement with stakeholders across the state ahead of the 2027 election.
It charged the appointees to work diligently, remain committed to the campaign’s objectives and mobilise support for Alli’s bid to provide purposeful leadership for Oyo State.
