The Oyo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has felicitated with Christian community over the celebration of Easter celebration.
The party stated this in a statement made available to InsideOyo.com on Thursday, by AbdulAzeez Olatunde, the state’s Publicity Secretary.
“The OYO STATE APC is wishing our CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY the Blessings attached to the season in our lives in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
“Meanwhile, let us use this opportunity to appreciate all APC Leaders in Oyo State as well as Elected APC Representatives at the Senate, House of Representatives and the States House of Assembly PARTICULARLY those that extended PALLIATIVE across to the good people of OYO STATE at this trying time that the world is combating COVID-19 Global Pandemic.
“We pray Almighty God to replenish your finances and save us from the present rampaging Pandemic.
“On behalf of the Leader of APC in Oyo State and Deputy National Chairman(South) H. E, Sen Abiola Ajimobi, The State Chairman of APC, Chief Akin Oke, the entire State Executive of APC in OYO STATE and in fact all APC members in Oyo State, we wish our Christian community HAPPY EASTER CELEBRATION.”
The party urged every Christians to take solace in the assured redemption of the world with “RISE FROM THE CRUCIFIXION OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST –Mark 16:6 & Luke 24:5-6.”
