Former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Barr. Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has emerged as the likely candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Oyo state, according to a public poll conducted by InsideOyo.com.
In the poll which started on Monday, October 1 and ends Thursday, October 4, 2018, Alli came top followed by Olufemi Lanlehin and Kola Balogun in far third position.
The three candidates came top out of the 13 aspirants vying for the governorship ticket under the Oyo ADC.
According to the Jamiu Adewole, Managing Editor, the essence of the poll was to feel the impulse of the Oyo people before party take decision on their gubernatorial candidates.

“It is set to know which aspirant stands a better chance among the electorates and give the political party an eye of how their emerged candidates will be accepted among other political parties.
“It is an unbiased process and set to have only one vote per person.”
