The gubernatorial candidate of the National Interest Party (NIP) in Oyo State, Mrs Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu, has promised to give hope to the people of Oyo State if elected in the March 2 gubernatorial election.
The female gubernatorial candidate disclosed this to Nigerian Tribune after an interactive forum organised by the Ibadan Chamber of Commerce and Industry for gubernatorial candidates in the state, held at the Kakanfo Inn, Ibadan, recently.
She said if elected as the next governor of Oyo State, she would give hope to all residents in the state through people-oriented programmes and policies that will banish poverty and hopelessness in the state.
On the plight of women whose businesses had folded up because of the harsh economic policies of the state government, including multiple taxation, she promised to give them soft loans and also make the environment conducive for business to thrive.
