A gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the 2019 gubernatorial election in Oyo State, Engr. Oyedele Hakeem Alao has kicked off familiarisation tour across the zones of the state.
In a statement made available to insideoyo.com and signed by his Head of Policy and Strategy, Lekan Salawu, the visit will afford the Structural Engineer to interact with the party leaders, executives and other stakeholders. It also provides an avenue for him to meet some of his admirers.
It should be recalled that in February, Engr. Alao has earlier declared his intention to vie for the position of governor of Oyo State on the platform of Alliance for Democracy. A decision that has received wide acceptance and endorsement.
While addressing the party faithfuls in Eruwa, the headquarters of Ibarapa East Local Government which coincidentally is the birthplace of his mother, Engr. Alao sympathized with the people of the zone for negligence they have been receiving all along as a result of misgovernance.

“Aside that here is the birthplace of my late mother, I sympathize with you on the sorry state of your public infrastructures and amenities. I am assuring you of a new leave under a government led by Alliance for Democracy, starting from 2019.”
The redemption team is scheduled to also visit, Ogbomoso, Oyo, Oke-Ogun and Ibadan zone in successive order.
