The outgoing chairman of Oorelope local government area, Hon. Akeem Adepoju Raheem has distributed four units of Bajaj motorcycles to security agencies in the local government.
Raheem distributed the motorcycles shortly after the last monthly Peace and Security meeting.
In a related development, the chairman has also appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde and the good people of Oorelope local government for the opportunity given to him to serve.
While assuring that his commitment to the welfare and progress of Oorelope remains steadfast, he appreciated leaders and stakeholders of the party for their support.
He apologized for any instances where his actions or decisions may have fallen short of expectation
He said: “As my term as your Council Chairman comes to an end, I am filled with mixed emotions—gratitude for the opportunity to serve you and regret for any shortcomings that may have occurred during my tenure.
“To each and every one of you, I extend my heartfelt apologies for any instances where my actions or decisions may have fallen short of your expectations. As leaders, we strive to make decisions in the best interest of our community, but we are not infallible, and mistakes may have been made along the way. For these, I am truly sorry.
“I want to assure you that my commitment to the welfare and progress of Oorelope Local Government remains steadfast. I will carry the lessons learned from my time in office and use them to continue advocating for the betterment of our community in whatever capacity I find myself.
“I am immensely grateful for the support, cooperation, and understanding you have shown me throughout my tenure. Your unwavering dedication to our community is what drives us forward, and I am honored to have served as your Chairman.
