The Babalaje of Ogbomosoland, Engineer Muftau Open Salawu FNSE, has commiserated with the Olubadan family over the demise of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji Ajeogunguniso I.
Open Salawu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in a condolence message on Monday said the late Olubadan was calm and intelligently ready for response at all time.
The Waziri jari Nupe recalled that he said the Olubadan and Soun shared love to people and development in common.
He prayed Allah grant both monarchs Al Jannah Firdaus.
The message read: “The late Olubadan Oba Salihu Akamu Adetunji was an Excellent Monarch. Calmly and intelligently ready for response all the time. He has always wish to ascend to the throne of Olubadan and God answer the prayer when he became the 41st Olubadan knowing how rigorous the process of ascending the throne of Olubadan which mostly throw up aged monarch in Ibadan.
“In my Birthday message to Olubadan I said Olubadan like Soun in time of their love to people and development, Enterprises and character. Unknown to me they both share destiny to pass on within few days after each other. It was a life well spent for both great monarchs of our time.
“May Almighty Allah grant both of them Aljanat Firdaus and give the family, the people of Ibadan and Oyo state in General fortitude to bear the lost.”
