The executive chairman of Lagelu local government area, Hon. Gbadamosi Kazeem Adeyemi has written the Olubadan-in-Council, in expression of condolence to the passing of the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan land.
In a condolence letter officially signed by the executive chairman, and made available to press by his Media Assistant, Ayo Salami— Hon. Kazeem Adeyemi expresses remorse to the passing of the late Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba. Saliu Adetunji (Aje Oguguluso I).
Hon. Kazeem Adeyemi has remarked in the official letter, to the Olubadan-in-Council;
“I was saddened to learn of the passing of the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji (Aje Oguguluso I)”.
“On behalf of the people of Lagelu local government area, I offer our heartfelt condolences to the Olubadan-in-Council, as I commiserate with His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, and the entire people of Ibadan land”.
“Oba Saliu Adetunji, (Aje Oguguluso I) has surely left many indelible marks to Ibadan kingdom. But as death has now deprived us all of the privilege to enjoy his reign for much more years, we shall take comfort in the belief that his legacy will now live on, in the city of Ibadan, and in the hearts and minds of all Ibadan people”.
“At this difficult time of remorse, I and the entire people of Lagelu local government are holding the Olubadan-in-Council, family members of the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, and the entire people of Ibadan land in our thoughts and prayers”
