In a heartwarming display of community support, Hon. Wasiu Adewale Babatunde (Adua), the Vice Chairman of Oorelope Local Government, has donated two engines to vulcanizers Mr. Ojoogun Gabriel and Mr. Adedeji Muritala from Ward 5, Igbope, Oorelope Local Government.
The donation was made on Tuesday in the Igbope community, with Mr. Muritala’s wife presenting the engines on behalf of the Vice Chairman.
During an interview with reporters, Hon. Wasiu praised the leadership strategies of the Executive Chairman of Oorelope Local Government and commended the Governor of Oyo State for their good governance.
He emphasized that the donation is more than a simple act of kindness, but a testament to the community’s acknowledgment of the hard work and integrity of the vulcanizers.
The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oorelope Local Government, Hon. Alhaji Safariyu Oyelowo, expressed his happiness regarding the developments under his leadership.
He extended gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State and the Executive Chairman of Oorelope Local for their consistent good governance and highlighted the Governor’s exemplary leadership style as a model for others to follow.
Mr. Ojoogun Gabriel, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Vice Chairman, praying for continued blessings for him and his family.
He noted that the engines are vital for his business, which had suffered without them, and thanked both the Vice Chairman and the PDP for their support.
