The caretaker chairman of Oorelope local government, Igboho, Hon Yaqub Adesola TASOOLO has on Tuesday, distributed empowerment materials to residents of the local government.
Some of the items distributed included motorcycles, freezers, hair driers, sprayers for farmers, food coolers, cutlasses, books for school students.
While speaking during the distribution, the chairman hailed Governor Seyi Makinde for giving him the opportunity to serve the good people of Oorelope local government.
He also commended the Governor for his love for the people and for embarking on developmental projects in Oke Ogun and the state in general.
He added that the enhancement of small scale trade and support for Education will go a long way to lift people out poverty.
His words: “Distribution of empowerment materials to citizens and school books to students and teachers in Oorelope Local Government.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke commended the caretaker chairman for
supporting them with the empowerment materials.
They also lauded the Oyo state government-led by Governor Seyi Makinde.
The event was well attended by stakeholders, leaders, senior local government officials, youth, Persons Living with Disability (PLWD) and others.
