South West Group of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) has hailed Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal, for appointing three of its members as special aides.
The trio of Omolere Omoetan, Publisher of Sunrise Bulletin; Joel Kehinde, Publisher of Goal Poacher; and Ahmed Oyedeji, Publisher of Mouthpieceng received their appointment letters on Wednesday.
SWEGOP, in a statement signed by the Chairman, Mr Olayinka Agboola, and PRO, Remi Oladoye, said the recognition given to the publishers by the deputy governor is highly commendable.
“The Deputy Governor has demonstrated attribute of a genuine interest and intent to encourage the younger generation of professionals,” the statement said.
While expressing optimism that the trio will perform their duties diligently, SWEGOP urged them to be dedicated, promote the integrity of journalism and maintain good relationship with their colleagues
