The Omo Ajorosun Club has extended its heartfelt condolences to the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Oyo State over the sudden demise of Honorable Olaide Akinremi, who until his death was a member of the club and a member of the House of Representatives.
In a statement signed by the club’s president, Chief Sunday Gbenjo Oyekanmi and made available by the PRO, ESV Toyeshe Lawal, the Omo Ajorosun Club described Hon. Akinremi’s passing as a tremendous loss to the state and the nation at large.
“We are deeply saddened by the news of Hon. Akinremi’s demise. He was a dedicated public servant who tirelessly worked for the betterment of his constituents and the state. His contributions to the development of Oyo State will never be forgotten.
“Hon. Akinremi was a shining example of selfless leadership and a champion of the people. His death has left a void that will be difficult to fill. We will miss his wisdom, his kindness, and his unwavering commitment to the welfare of others.
“Hon. Akinremi was a shining star in the political landscape of Oyo State. His passion for education and healthcare was unwavering, and his legacy will continue to inspire us.”
The club prayed for the repose of his soul and extended its condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues saying “May God grant his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace.”
The club also urged the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Oyo State to take solace in the good deeds and legacy left behind by Hon. Akinremi.
