The Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa has appreciated the steps taken by the Babaloja General of Oyo State at uniting all factions in the traders association.
Oba Rashidi Ladoja stated this at ancient Mapo hall during the Visitation and gathering of traders association at Ibadan Zone 1.
Oba Rashidi Ladoja was represented by Mogaji Gbadeyanka who called on the traders association added that the traders association should aline with Alhaji YK Abass leadership.
At the Ibadan Zone 1 visitation it was like a carnival like event as market leaders from the six geo political , notable politicians in the state and traders from Ibadan city troop out enmass.
The Oyo state Commissioner for Trades and industry Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi said he was happy seen the coming together of different groups of the traders association in the state.
He pledges government support in the area of welfarism and opportunities to the traders association.
Addressing the gathering, the Babaloja general of Oyo State Asiwaju Yekeen Abass said Ibadan zone 1 brings an end to tour of the geo political zone.
He added that the end of the tour will bring needed support for all traders in terms of grants and upliftment of Markets across Zones.
Some members of the political class at the gathering including the Chief Adegboyega Adegoke , A member of the house of representative Hon. Stanley Olajide promised to support the traders association financially .
Earlier in their various remarks some of the market leaders pleaded for joint support, welfare from government at all levels.
Among other notable individuals that graced the occasion including Muslimat Tunrayo Adeogun(ATM), CEO Omo Ola travels and tour and many others.
