Chairman, Olorunsogo Local government area of Oyo state, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju has congratulated a Former Assembly Lawmaker, Hon Femi Julius Okedoyin on his new appointment as the chairman, Oyo State House Of Assembly Service Commission.
Hon Olayanju who also represented Irepo Olorunsogo state constituency in the Oyo 9th Assembly made this known in a statement made available to journalists to felicitate the new Assembly Commission Chairman.
Hon. Olayanju who described Hon. Femi Julius Okedoyin’s appointment as a round peg in a round hole which he said will birth unprecedented development in the commission, explained that the commission needed such individual to build on past achievements and move it forward.
The council boss expressed optimism that the commission under Okedoyin would be result oriented and contribute greatly to smooth operation of workers at the Oyo state house of assembly.
Hon. Olayanju thanked Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde whom he described as a promise keeper, for promoting youth inclusion in governance and changing the narrative in politics.
He said the days of politics of bitterness have gone in Oyo state with the style of leadership of governor Seyi Makinde.
He said “Today, I congratulate Hon. Femi Julius on his new appointment, I commend his Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde for being a promised keeper and promoter of youth
“I Thank him for changing the narrative of politics and governance in Oyo State, gone are those day when politics in Oyo State was dirty game. His architecture of modern Oyo State is top notch” he said.
Hon Olayanju congratulated the immediate past chairman, Oyo assembly service commission, who was also a former Deputy speaker, Dr. Musah Abdulwasi for the giant strides he recorded while in office.
Olayanju, the vice chairman of Oyo ALGON, wished Hon Femi Julius Okedoyin a successful tenure as chairman.
