The Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government Council, Hon Oyedokun Timothy has stated that the completion and commissioning of the 20 lock up shops at Kajola market is part of his drive to ensure economic growth in the council area.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Oluwafemi Ajiboye, the Council boss said this on Tuesday while commissioning the shops at Kajola market, Ogbomoso South Local Government Area, as he used the opportunity to commend the market men and women for their support for the current administration.
According to him, “ There are some steps I might take which you might not be happy about, but trust me its for your gain. This would not be the last project that would come to this market, all we need is your support and prayers.
“In addition, earlier we had install a 500kva transformer and electric poles at this market, as such a market like Kajola cannot operate without electricity. This is a local government market which supposed to be the best among it peers,” Oyedokun added.
He noted that his administration was poised to do more tangible projects for the people of Ogbomoso South, saying: “we are here to serve the people, and we’ll serve our people happily and make them happy”.
