The leadership of Nigeria Must Be Great Again (NMBGA) has commended the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde concerning policies in Education sector for bringing development to the sector.
In the press release made available to newsmen, the group said achievement in Education sector so far mostly especially in Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa under the stewardship of the Acting Rector, Dr Adejumo Peter has impacted positively in the development of the sector.
The group explained that when the former Ibarapa Polytechnic was engulfed in myriads of problems triggered off non-accreditation of programmes which snowballed into industrial crises, the Governor used a magic wand – REBRANDING.
“As soon as the institution was renamed Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic through an Executive Bill that he sponsored, everything changed for better. Within 5 months, accreditation of programmes hitherto unachievable by the previous administration was achieved.
“The institution, like all others started enjoying hundred percent (100) salary subvention thus ensuring industrial harmony.” the release read.
The group also said the institution got enlisted for TETfund intervention typified in equipping the ICT center with 150 computer systems for a start as well as nomination of AOPE for year 2020/ 2021 further intervention, Partnership with Global Education Enhancers Ltd which provided 300 capacity JAMB CBT Centre, Donations of Specialised materials & Books by Professional Bodies like ICAN, Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers, Expansion of Vocational Skills Centre and Better rating of the institution by the public.
In conclusion, the group appreciated the Governor for his steady politcies as he is God Sent to the people of Oyo state.
