An Ibadan based Non Governmental Organization (NGO), Save The Environment, has embarked on environmental sanitation exercise across major areas in the state capital.
This initiative, Busari Ibrahim Olayode, Project Coordinator at Save The Environment, told InsideOyo.com that is to make sure the environment is clean, safe and healthy to live.
“We find a dirty location in the community and clean it, disposing the trash appropriately.
We did it again! Yass!! The thrash were carelessly disposed after use and we took up the challenge of making things right!

As global environmental issues due to industrialization and human activities are growing more seriously, there’s an urgent need for us to resolve them by protecting the environment in many ways in which picking and appropriate disposal of trash is one,” Olayode told InsideOyo.com.
