The Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal has urged residents of Oyo state and Nigerians in general to be hopeful and keep supporting the Seyi Makinde-led administration that things will get better.
Bayo Lawal, who’s the Bamofin of Kisi said this in a new year message made available to newsmen on Saturday.
He expressed hope that numerous challenges like insecurity, economic hardship and others facing the country will be defeated in 2022.
The former attorney general of the state also thanked the people of the state for their prayers and support for the Seyi Makinde-led government in the state.
He added more good works of the government will be delivered in 2022 adding that the dividends of democracy will get to everyone.
His words: “Today marks the beginning of year 2022. We can only be hopeful that the numerous challenges facing us a country will be defeated this year, because we can’t continue like this.
“Let me use this opportunity to thank all indigenes and residents of Oyo state for the their prayers and support for the Seyi Makinde-led government. With your prayers and support, this government will do more in 2022.”
