The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has released the results of the accreditation exercise it conducted during its visit to Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, Oyo state, which took place in September, 2023.
The results of the accreditation for each of the institution’s programs are detailed in the exclusive reports provided by the Board.
These reports were communicated to the Rector of the institution, in a letter dated the 31st of October, 2023. The letter was signed by Arc Ngbede Ogon, Director of Polytechnic Programs on behalf of the NBTE Executive Secretary.
It reads: “With reference to the Resources Inspection exercise carried out by the Board at your Institution from 11th to 15th September 2023, I am directed to inform you that the Board has granted your Institution approval to offer the following programs, effective from the 2023/2024 academic session. The approved courses are listed below:
“ND Architectural Technology
ND Estate Management and Valuation
ND Business Administration and Management
ND Office Technology and Management
ND Civil Engineering Technology
ND Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
ND Mechanical Engineering Technology
ND Computer Science
ND Science Laboratory Technology
ND Mass Communication
HND Art and Design (Textile Option)
HND Science Laboratory Technology (Microbiology Option)
HND Science Laboratory Technology (Biochemistry Option)
“The Board has advised the institution to invite them to conduct a re-accreditation exercise when due. Failure to do so within the specific period will disqualify the institution from further admissions into these programs.
In response to this new development, the Acting Rector of the Institution, Dr. Gbade Akinteye, expressed his gratitude for the tremendous support of the state government in ensuring the success of the accreditation exercise.
He also acknowledged the commitment and dedication of the Governing Council, management, students, and staff of the institution, which have played a vital role in achieving this milestone.
