Mogaji Eegunjenmi of Eegunjenmi Family of Itutaba, Oje, Ibadan and chairman of Euro Lounge and Exclusive Bar, Alhaji Adekunle Amidu Busari, has extolled the virtues of the late founder of Omolewa Nursery and Primary School, Ibadan, Chief Mrs Gladys Aduke Vaughan.
Alhaji Busari, in a statement in commemoration of the 10th remembrance anniversary of Mrs Vaughan, younger sister of the foremost politician, Pa Adisa Akinloye of Eegunjenmi Family, described her as a great educationist who left indelible marks on the sands of time.
According to the Mogaji, Mama was an exemplary woman and outstanding educationist, who did not only sustain the great legacy of Pa Adisa Akinloye but also left indelible marks on the sands of time.
He added that Mama’s legacy would be fondly remembered and the good name she inherited and left behind would be practically sustained.
The statement read, “It is exactly 10 years today that our dear Sister, Aunt and Mother, Chief (Mrs) Gladys Aduke Vaughan (nee Akinloye of Eegunjenmi Family, Itutaba, Oje, Ibadan), the Otun Iyalode of Ibadanland and Founder, Omolewa Nursery and Primary School, passed unto glory.
“On behalf of the entire Eegunjenmi Family, I, Mogaji Eegunjenmi, Alhaji Adekunle Amidu Aremu Busari, fondly remember the worthy daughter of the Family, an exemplary woman and outstanding educationist, who not only sustained the great legacy of Pa Adisa Akinloye, but also left indelible marks on the sands of time.
“Mama, we will continue to fondly remember you as we sustain the good legacies and uplift the good name you inherited and left behind.
