The gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, during the 2019 general elections, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (Solan) has felicitated with the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alh. Daud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak) on his birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday, Lanlehin described him as the vanguard of everything noble, honourable and humane.
“I want to appreciate Almighty Allah for keeping you alive in good health and abundant wealth, as I pray that He continually blesses you so you can continue to be a source of blessing to many.
“That you have dedicated your life to the service of humanity and upliftment of Islam is not in doubt, indeed, you have been in the vanguard of everything noble, honourable and humane. I can only wish you long life, in prosperity and good health, so that you can continue to do more, in this regard.
“Also, let me note that it is hugely significant for your birthday to fall on the Eid-el Kabir holiday, I therefore urge you to take a cue from the life of Prophet Ibrahim, whose obedience and sacrifice, birthed the festivity, for “In obedience and sacrifice, lies the key to the heart of the Almighty.”
He admonished Aare Musulumi never to depart from the path of righteousness.
“In closing, let me, on behalf of my family; immediate and extended, my party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), my friends, associates and supporters, wish you, Alh.
