Governor Seyi Makinde has reinstated all political appointees in his cabinet who resigned to contest the party primaries, InsideOyo.com has learnt.
Makinde made this known on Friday while addressing all candidates and aspirants on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the Agodi Government House.
The governor said he would soon announce replacement for his aides who won election at the primary.
He said: “I have directed the SSG to reinstate all political appointees who resigned their appointments to contest at the just concluded PDP Primaries in the state to be reinstated.”
The Governor also announced his campaign council ahead of the 2023 elections.
He named Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matter, Chief Bayo Lawal as the Director General of his 2023 campaign.
Bayo Lawal was the Governor’s campaign DG in 2019.
Also announced in the campaign team were Deputy Director Generals which were Dr Nureni Adeniran (Oyo South) O Tope (Oyo Central) and Barrister Niyi Farinto (Oyo North).
