The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has listed notable members of the party in Oyo state as part of campaign committee in the September 22 governorship election in Osun State.
The National Working Committee of the party listed the party governorship aspirant in Oyo, Eng Seyi Makinde; former Minister of State for FCT and Oyo Central Senatorial District Aspirant, Chief Jumoke Akinjide; former Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola; Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha and 81 others are on the list obtained by InsideOYO.com.
The campaign council also has all the serving Governors on the platform of the party: Okezie Ikepazu (Abia), Emmanuel Udom (Akwa Ibom), Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Benedict Ayade (Cross River), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), Dave Umhai (Ebonyi), Ayodele Fayose (Ekiti), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Abdulfathah Ahmed (Kwara), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto) and Darius Ishaku (Taraba), as members.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu leads a contingent of National Assembly members on the list including Senators David Mark, a former senate president; Dino Melaye, Theodore Orji, and Biodun Olujimi.
Also included on the list are a repertoire of the PDP’s presidential aspirants including Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President; Ahmed Makarfi, a former Kaduna State governor; Sule Lamido; a former Jigawa State governor; and Attahiru Bafarawa; a former Sokoto State governor.
Prominent PDP members including Bode George, a former national vice-chairman (South-West), Aldophous Wabara, a former senate president; Ben Obi, a former presidential adviser; Idiris Wada, a former Kogi State governor, and A.B.C Nwosu, Mike Ononelemen, and Kema Chikwe, former federal ministers made the list.
Eddy Olafeso, the PDP National Vice Chairman (South-West), will serve as the secretary to the council.
The committee will be inaugurated on Monday, September 3, at the Legacy House in Abuja.
