A gubernatorial aspirant of the PDP in Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde has described Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as a father figure who means well for the people of the state.
In a statement issued by the Seyi Makinde organisation and signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade, Makinde said this while congratulating Senator ladoja on the occasion of his 74th birthday.
He said that by virtue of his age, political and traditional status, ladoja remains relevant even when there are good reasons for many of his admirers to disagree with him lately, on the viable path to bring back the state to glory.
Makinde said that he is optimistic that a political convergence is still possible in the foreseeable future so that the two of them can work together to restore the Oyo Project.
Engr Makinde prayed for the continued good health of the Osi Olubadan. and reassured him of his highest regards.
