The Deputy Speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi has congratulated the State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde who clocks 53, 25th December.
InsideOyo gathered that Makinde who became Oyo State Governor on 29th May 2019 was born on 25th December 1967.
The Deputy Speaker who shares the same birthday with the Governor while celebrating the Governor maintained that he was happy to identify with Makinde.
He described Makinde’s achievements in less than two years as unbeatable and blessing to the state.
Fadeyi, who represents Ona Ara State Constituency, the local government area where the Governor hails from in a statement he personally signed in Ibadan on Thursday said the governor has demonstrated leadership per excellence and human development in the last nineteen months of his administration.
He said that he is happy because he shared some things with the Governor.
Fadeyi, prayed for long life for himself and the governor.
He used the occasion to appeal to Christians, Muslims and other adherents of other religions in the state to continue supporting the present administration in Oyo state for its love for the masses.
Fadeyi said, “I am happy to identify with governor Makinde as leader and governor of Oyo state.
“He has demonstrated qualities of a good leader, father and governor. His achievements are numerous to mention, therefore, I pray for long life and prosperity for him.
“I equally congratulate myself and my constituents for their support for me and the present government in Oyo state. I know they believe in me. And I promise never to let them down. We shall take Ona ara state constituency to enviable position in few years to come.
“I am celebrating the Governor and celebrating myself. I shared the same birthday, 25th December with the Governor. I am also representing Ona Ara, the local government area where the Governor hails from.
“As for the Oyo state, we shall continue to build on our first time achievements with the support of our governor and the man of the people. By the time governor Makinde complete his eight years tenure, I am sure the state would have been transformed to a great state.
“I celebrate my boss and the governor of our dear state, wishing you long life and many more years, as I wish myself happy birthday day.”
