As proceedings resume tomorrow (Friday) before Hon. Justice Masuud Abass of Oyo State High Court Ring Road, Ibadan in a case instituted by the Oyo State Government to restrain the embattled elected Chairmen of Local Government from resuming offices, all parties in the case are expected to give the court a report of the various peace meetings held to resolve the case amicably at the court.
At tomorrow’s proceedings, insideoyo.com gathered that Chief Adeniyi Akintola who initially appeared before he was debriefed at last adjourned day by the 1st Defendant who was represented by the Head of Legal of Oyo State Police Command, the Senior Counsel, Akintola SAN will have none of the parties to represent in court tomorrow.
This is due to the fact the 1st , 4th and 5th Defendants have all briefed their counsel because Chief Akintola SAN was said not to have their authority and instruction to appear in the matter from inception at all.
The Head Legal of the Police will now appear for the 1st and 4th Defendants in the case while Aatikat Rufai Esq. of the Federal Ministry of Justice will represent the Attorney-General of the Federation.
