Ahead of the Local government congress of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, the Chairman, Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OYRUWASSA), Engineer Najeem Omirinde has urged party members to maintain peace.
Omirinde in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday urged party members who maybe offended in one way or the other as a result of the outcome of the congress to be patient with Governor Seyi Makinde.
He said that God will surely reward everyone while calling all those who will be announced as the winner to give their hundred percent loyalty to the Governor.
“I want to see this medium to call on party members and leaders to maintain peace during the conduct of the local government congress of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, scheduled for tomorrow
“In any electioneering process, it is expected to have winners and loosers. For those who may be offended in one way or the other as a result of not being the winner, they should be patient with His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde. There are many other good things in the party and government. God will surely reward everyone.”
