Lanre Sarumi, a House of Representatives aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, in Ibadan North Federal Constituency has donated a brand new generator to the party, to enhance its operations.
Sarumi made the presentation while at the party headquarters in Molete, Ibadan on Wednesday.
The frontline aspirant said that the donation was aimed at strengthening the party activities for optimal political growth.
He gave the assurance of continued support and assistance to the party, which he described as the bedrock of aspiring politicians.
The State Chairman, PDP, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, while accepting the generator plant appreciated Hon. Lanre Sarumi.
He thanked him profusely for showing constant love to the party even as an aspirant and also prayed that his aspirations will see the light of the day.
The Chairman also noted that Hon. Lanre Sarumi made a promise and fulfilled it in less than 24 hours.
That according to the Chairman, “is a sign of a good representation”.
The Generator set was delivered in the presence of the State Secretary, Hon Wasiu Adeleke; The State Youth Leader, Hon. Micheal Ogunsina and the Assistant Organizing Secretary, Pastor Biodun Popoola.
