As the former Oyo state Governor, Sen Rashidi Ladoja marks his seventy-fifth birthday, the Speaker Oyo state house of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin has described him as an exemplary political legend and mentor who is a force to reckon with in the Southwest and indeed Nigeria.
Hon Ogundoyin in a congratulatory message to Sen Ladoja on the occasion of his birthday and made available to newsmen, the speaker said the former Governor was a quintessential and wonderful leader who deserves nothing but the best not only on his birthday but at all times.
The speaker said the high quantum of encomiums people continue to shower on former Governor Ladoja for his outstanding leadership qualities and nationalism was not surprising as he has relentlessly demonstrated genuine love for all who come in contact with him.
According to him,the 75th birthday of Sen Ladoja who is also the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland could not have come at a more auspicious time than now when there is a new political dawn in Oyo state led by Governor Seyi Makinde and fully engineered and supported by the celebrant himself.
“I am happy to have you as my political mentor and leader as your fatherly training and advice has continued to be my guiding principle. Not many people also know that I was privileged to have received business tutelage too from you having worked in your highly reputable farm after my university training in Agronomy. You have succeeded in taking the people of Oyo state to where they want to be politically” Hon Ogundoyin said
“I joined millions of people of Oyo state to wish you a resounding happy 75th birthday and I pray to God to grant you more years filled with joy and happiness. The Speaker added.
He commended Sen Ladoja for his steadfastness even as a septuagenarian and stressed that such a trait has continued to endear thousands of people to the high chief of Ibadanland.
