The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Kajola/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa Federal constituency in the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja, Shina Peller on Friday visited the Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde in Ibadan, the state capital.
Insideoyo.com gathered that the purpose of the visit is to intimate the governor about flooding in Kajola local government area which claimed lives and properties.
In a post on Makinde’s official twitter account, the governor said he was pleased to meet Peller.
“I was pleased to meet with Honourable Shina Peller, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, who visited me today to submit a report on flooding/erosion in Kajola LGA, which claimed lives and destroyed properties.” it reads.
Insideoyo.com recalls that Shina Peller was elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the last general elections.
Peller who owns popular club in Lagos, Aquila, defeated the African Democratic Congress, ADC candidate, Hon Supo and others.
