The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has started moves to resolve the crisis rocking the party in Oyo state.
The party, in a release by the Chairman, National Reconciliation, Harmonisation and Ethnic Committee (South), Alhaji Said Abdulahi made available to insideoyo.com on Tuesday ratified the report of the Extended Oyo State Executive.
Recall that insideoyo.com had earlier reported that Extended Oyo State Executive had earlier suspended the Chairman and 7 others over alleged anti party activities.
“The ratification of the report by Extended Oyo State Executive, is in tandem with the spirit of the Constitution of African Democratic Congress (ADC).
“Further discplinary action vis-a-vis expulsion from the Party was also recommend and forwarded to NWC/ NEC of our Great Party, African Democratic Congress.” it reads.
Also, the party has appointed Rev. Ezekiel Adeniran as the acting chairman of the party in Oyo state until further directive.
“Meanwhile, Rev. Ezekiel Adeniran, shall be piloting the affairs of African Democratic Congress- Oyo State Chapter in Acting Capacity, until further directive.” it adds.
