Iwajowa Local Government Chairman, Honorable Oyewumi Muritala Abiodun, attended the mega anniversary of Salvation Voices Choir at the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim & Seraphim Church in Iganna, Iwajowa Local Government Area.
The event also featured the launching of musical instruments.
During the occasion, Oyewumi announced that today makes it one year that the local government election that produced him as the chairman of Iwajowa local government was conducted, thanking God for the privilege to serve.
“Today marked a year that the Local Government elections that produced me as the Council Chairman held.
“I expressed my gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, Barr Adeniyi Farinto, Hon Hakeem Adedibu, Leaders and Elders of our Party (PDP) and the entire people of Iwajowa local government for their support before, during and after the elections.” He said.
The Chairman reiterated his commitment to religious tolerance and support for the Christian Association of Nigeria in Iwajowa.
“We reiterate our commitment to the religious tolerance and our support for the Christian Association of Nigeria in Iwajowa local government,” he stated.
Oyewumi also appreciated the spiritual support of Dr. Prophet Lawrence Aremu Iteade Bankole, founder of the Church.
“I specially acknowledged and appreciated the spiritual support of our father, and the founder of the Church, Dr Prophet Lawrence Aremu Iteade Bankole JP and the entire Church members,” he said.
The Chairman was accompanied by his entourage, including Leader of the House, Hon Oshin Sunday, Deputy Leader, Hon Mustapha Quadry, Chief of Staff, Kazeem Hammed and other council members.
