Prof Adebowale stated that his management team, in recognition of the delay and difficulties usually involved in the issuance of transcripts in UI made it a priority to tackle the challenge, thereby introducing a digital approach which makes the process seamless and fast.

The Vice Chancellor congratulated the Sultan Bello Hall alumni on the 60th anniversary of the great Hall, which has bred great men in the society.

While acknowledging a gap between the University of Ibadan and it’s alumni, due to its inability to capture all students that have graduated from the University, Prof Adebowale assured all that the University now seeks to bridge the gap.

He assured the Sultan Bello Hall alumni that the University has continued to commit considerable resources to sustain the Hall and other halls on campus, in order to ensure that their legacies live on. He however admitted that this has been a challenging task, given the paucity of fund and resources in the University. He therefore enjoined the University Alumni to support the University in this regard.

Prof Adebowale congratulated and pledged the University’s support to the Alumni of Sultan Bello Hall in anyway required as they prepare for the commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Hall of great men in September.
