The Caretaker Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government area, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Ogbomoso land.
Hon Oyedokun said this when he paid an assessment visit to the Soun Township Stadium to inspect the ongoing renovation and construction work ongoing at the stadium.
He commended the contractor for doing a good job, adding that he was satisfied with the quality and pace of work at the ongoing construction of the stadium.
He made it known that the Stadium renovation project is being jointly financed by all the local government councils in Ogbomoso zone, noting that when completed will further bring sporting activities back to life in Ogbomoso town and it’s environs.
Oyedokun said “I expressed optimism that the stadium would be 100 per cent before the agreed deadline because the work is going on steadily.
“I am committed to the all round development of our dear town and further reiterate my promise to ensure the progress of Ogbomoso South local government and Ogbomosoland in entirety.”
The LG boss however commend the state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for laying down the path of developmental projects in the state.
