The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Governent area, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has congratulated the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for the successful completion of his first term in office.
Adeojo, in a statement personally signed on Sunday, entitled: ‘Hearty Congratulations To A Quintessential Awoist’, commended the numerous outstanding achievements of the governor in all sectors, saying they have positively impacted the lives of the good people of Oyo State.
While expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve, Adeojo described the governor as a great achiever, role model and wonderful leader, praying that the second term will usher in good tidings for the people of the state.
The statement read in part:
“I, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, on behalf of the good people of the Council, say a big thank you to Governor of the masses, His Excellency, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, for your numerous outstanding achievements in all sectors, which have had positive effects on the good people of Oyo State during OMITUNTUN 1.0.
“You are indeed a role model, great achiever and wonderful leader. Thank you for the privilege to be part of this success story, Sir. May OMITUNTUN 2.0 reign continue to usher in glad tidings for our dear state.
“God Almighty in His infinite mercies shall continue to strengthen and endow you with more wisdom throughout this tenure and beyond.
“I wish you a sustained success throughout your tenure. Congratulations Sir.”
