Honourable Lateef Akorede, the chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government has congratulated Miss Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi over her appointment and swearing-in as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports.
Akorede commended Governor Seyi Makinde for finding the Ibarapa-born lady worthy of the office.
He made this known in a statement made available to newsmen, on Friday.
He wished the new commissioner a successful tenure in office while urging her to give her best to the state.
His words: “I want to use this opportunity to congratulate a golden daughter of Ibarapa zone, Miss Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi over her appointment and swearing in as commissioner for Youth and Sports.
“Also, our boss, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde deserves commendations for choosing her. I wish her the best as she embarks on the task.”
