Debo Ogundoyin, the son of the late philanthropist and industrialist, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin, has emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the Ibarapa East State Constituency bye-election.
The vacant seat followed the demise of the late Speaker, Rt. Hon. Michael Adeyemo who represented the state constituency.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday conducted primary to fill the position where Ogundoyin, 31-year-old emerged as the flagbearer among other three aspirants – Adebisi Kehinde and Esuola Saka
The Chairman, National PDP electoral panel, Chief Okey M. Aboh, commended the delegates for their orderliness and also advised the nominee, Ogundoyin, to work closely with his co-contestants and leadership of PDP in Ibarapa East local government to achieve victory at the June 2nd bye election.
In his remarks, the PDP Candidate, Ogundoyin, while thanking the delegates, the leaders and the party members promised not to disappoint the good people of Ibarapa East local government if elected.
