The Labour Party, Oyo State conducted its primary election today in Ibadan and unanimously produced Dr. Kayode Adejumo-Bello as its flagbearer in the coming 16 August, 2025 bye election into the Federal House of Representative, Abuja.
The bye election held in Ibadan today was attended by heavyweights of the Labour Party in the State led by the State Chairman, Alhaji Sodiq Atayese, his Vice, Are Abi odun, the State Secretary, R. F. Ojetunde, Hon. Babatunde Ominrin (LP Acting Chairman, Ibadan North) and other chieftains. Voting delegates were drawn from the entire 12 wards of the Labour Party in the local government area.
The primary election also had in attendance the representative of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC
Dr. Kayode Adejumo-Bello in his acceptance speech promised inclusive representation and the welfare of members and constituents of the Local Government in it’s entirely.
