For stabbing her husband, Lowo Oyediran Ajanaku, to death in 2016, Ibadan lawyer, Yewande Oyediran, has been sentenced to seven years in jail for manslaughter, PUNCH reports.
Oyediran was said to have stabbed her husband multiple times during an argument.
The late thirty eight year-old Lowo Oyediran Ajanaku, was brutally stabbed to death early morning by his wife Yewande Oyediran nee Fatoki, at their Akobo estate home in Ibadan.
Yewande was a lawyer and a Staff of Directorate of public prosecution at the Ministry of Justice, Ibadan, Oyo state.
In an earlier ruling, the presiding Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Kehinde Durosaro-Tijani, ordered the accused to be remanded in Agodi Prisons in the case marked: MI/1539/2016 which revealed how Yewande on 2 February, 2016 “at about 06:10am at 30, Abidi Odan Akobo area, Ibadan in the Ibadan Magisterial District, did unlawfully cause the death of one Oyelowo Oyediran, 38, by stabbing him with knife on the neck, which later resulted in his death.”
