The President of the Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (POF), Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi, popularly known as OPA, has paid a courtesy visit to the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akeem Owoade. During the visit, Olaoluwa congratulated the monarch on his ascension to the throne, describing it as a new beginning for the Oyo kingdom.
Olaoluwa expressed his conviction that the Alaafin’s ascension was ordained by God to fulfill His original plans and socio-economic development of the Oyo kingdom.
He further stated that the monarch’s reign would not only bring progress to the Oyo kingdom but also contribute to the advancement of Yorubaland and Nigeria as a whole.
Notably, Olaoluwa informed the Alaafin of his decision to contest for the position of Governor of Oyo State in 2027 and sought the monarch’s blessing and support.
He assured the Alaafin that if elected, he would be a governor for all, irrespective of political leaning or any other differences.
The Alaafin, Oba Akeem Owoade, expressed gratitude for the visit and prayed for the success of Olaoluwa’s aspiration.
