The Babaloja of Oyo State Alhaji Yekeen Abass has on Wednesday, sympathised with the victim of yesterday explosion in Bodija area of Ibadan.
He also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde and the Oyo State government for prompt response to the emergency situation.
Alhaji Abass also extended heartfelt sympathies to the immediate families of the victims and the entire people of the state, particularly Ibadan residents.
The Babaloja general of Oyo state who was at the scene of the incident described the incident as a disheartening, unfortunate and prayed for the reposed of the dead.
Abass lauded Governor Seyi Makinde’s dedication not only in assuring that the government would cover the medical expenses of all victims, but also in providing temporary housing for those whose residences were affected.
He sent a condolence message to the Olubadan of Ibadanland over the unfortunate incident and prayed that such incident will not repeat itself.
