The Candidate of Accord Party for Oyo Central Senatorial District in the forthcoming elections in 2023, Engr. Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen has promised the good people of Oyo West LG, Oyo East, Afijio, Atiba, Ogooluwa/Surulere, Egbeda/ONA-ARA, LAGELU/Akinyele and Oluyole local government that made up Oyo Central Senatorial District a University to be established soon from his personal resources since Federal Government is yet to establish a high school of university status in the Oyo Central Senatorial District.
Engr.Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen made the promise while featuring on Raypower Indigenous Current Affairs cum/political programme tagged; OKODORO @RAYPOWER 95.1fm Ibadan on Saturday morning.
The anchor of the Programme Olayemi Afolabi has asked the Senatorial Candidate for Oyo Central Senatorial District what he will do in the area of education if elected.
Responding, Faozey said “it is part of my agenda to give my people in Oyo Central Senatorial District a befitting university which I will soon establish for them personally and more so I will work assiduously to attract other federal projects to my district”.
Asked to name major challenges the people of his district are facing, Faozey said “as we move from one community to another, we noticed our people want good and motorable roads, lights, water and medical attention and we have succeeded in building several bridges, solar lights, boreholes and mobile medical outreach across Oyo Central Senatorial District.”
On how formidable Accord Party is in Oyo Central Senatorial District, Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen commented “Accord is formidable not only in Oyo Central Senatorial District but across Oyo State. Structure is all about people and we got our people solidly behind us”.
On his relationship with all the five federal legislative Candidates under Accord Party within his Senatorial District. Faozey said “we have superb synergy together because we don’t go to any local government or Federal Constituency without the knowledge of Accord Candidates that are standing for federal constituencies, so we work in synergy”
When asked if his guest fear any Senatorial contestant from his district. Faozey said “I don’t fear any candidate because I am emerging victorious come 2023 and Oloye Adebayo Adelabu Penkelemesi will form government as the next governor of Oyo State”
