The Executive Director of Finance and Human Resource of Al-Qalam Schools Ibadan, Alhaji Ishaq Ajibola Otun has urged muslims to promote Human Capital Development (HCD) through long life learning and continuous training for talents growth.

He made this statement during the 56th Induction Ceremony of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria [CIPMN] while he was inducted as a full member (MCIPM) of the Institute.

The induction ceremony of this prestigious Institute was held on Thursday 2nd May 2024 at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Alhaji Ishaq Ajibola Otun made a special appeal to Muslim parents not to relent their efforts adding that giving both solid Islamic and contemporary education to children is a great advantage to the Muslim ummah, the Nation and beyond.

He reiterated that talents in youths should be developed through various relevant capacity building programmes since they are the main workforce of any great nation. He said the importance of knowledge cannot be overemphasised in Islam.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria [ CIPMN ] was established as the apex and an umbrella Association for Practitioners of Personnel Management in 1968 as the Personnel Management Association of Nigeria and finally chartered to regulate the HR Profession by the Act No 58 of 1992.

Alhaji Ishaq Ajibola Otun is a Leader in Human Resources Management (HRM), an Accountant with two decades of experiences and a visionary Leader whose interest cut-across several areas of business and social services. He is a Tax Professional, Fraud Examiner and an Educator. His passion for education made him co-established an Islamic faith based school- Al-Qalam Schools Ibadan, Nigeria in 2006, eighteen years ago.

Additionally, he is a multi-skilled personality. He has in his portfolio, a Fellowship member of the Institute of Financial Accountants, United Kingdom, Fellowship of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Fellowship of the Chartered institute of Taxation Nigeria, Member – Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) of Ireland.

He holds both professional and academic masters degree. He has Masters in Business Administration (MBA), specialising in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife Nigeria and Masters (Msc) in Accounting and Financial Management from Griffith College Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Alhaji Ishaq Ajibola Otun bagged a Postgraduate Degree (PGD) in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

And has an Educator, he holds a Professional Diploma in Education [PDE], a prestigious diploma awarded by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria [ TRCN ]. He is therefore a Certified Teacher licensed by the TRCN.
