It was a jubilating moment at the Soun Stadium in Ogbomoso on Wednesday 26th September, 2018 as football lovers sang different melodious songs as their darling Crown FC beat Osun United 2:1.
The stadium was full to the brim as lovers of football from far and near trooped out enmass to witness the very anticipated game between the two old rivalries in one of the week twelve (12) fixtures of the Bet9ja NNL.
Barnabas Daniel missed the golden one on one situation that would have been an opener for the Ajiiete Warriors in the eleventh (11th) minutes into the game from a set piece by Adigun Adewale.

Barnabas Daniel got the first caution in the thirty eighteth (38th) from a back charge on Jide Apena while the firce looking and very rugged Sodiq Suraj also got booked in the fortieth (40th) minute when he elbowed Adeyemi Adeyeye in a contest.
The first half ended two nil in favour (2:0) of the Ajilete Warriors.
The substitutions of Adigun Adewale for Obinna Christopher of Crown FC and George James for Fadairo David by Osun United in the forty sixth (46th) and forty eighth (48th) minutes respectively further strengthened both sides.
The brilliant goal by Uche Okorie in the fifty fifth (55th) minutes by the visitors boasted their morale and increased pressure on the homers.
Barnabas Daniel’s substitution for Chibuike Nwankwo created a lot of glaring scoring chances for the Ajilete Warriors but Nurudeen Lateef was excellent and calm to save all dangerous moves by the Oyekale led boys.
Crown FC now second on the log table with twenty points(20) will travel to Calabar to play Rovers FC at the U J Etsuene Stadium on Sunday 30th September, 2018 in one of the Week 13 match fixtures of the Bet9ja Nigeria
